Ukrainian Business and International Investment

I am curious to know if Ukrainian businesses are really ready to attract international investment in 2024. With new private equity funds like the Industrial Recovery Fund of Ukraine and Chicago Atlantic, it seems like there is a lot of money coming in, but do Ukrainian companies meet the necessary standards?

The reality is that only a small portion of Ukrainian companies are truly ready for international investment. Experts at the Industrial Recovery Fund of Ukraine claim that only 1 in 50 candidate companies are considered investment-ready. The biggest problem is outdated corporate governance, lack of clear financial reporting, and sloppy ownership structures.
