I understand looking into modified, X or A. I have seen used modified less engine and transmission go for less than this new rule changes. I don’t have a problem with the rule change that is not the point. Time I do the brake upgrade ($500) the bead-lock up grade ($300 same for mods) two gear changes ($1600 which wont change in X mods) the housing upgrade ($1000). I am looking of around $3500 in up grades for a class that could die? So I guess I too might jump ship switch to a class that is building and seems to be most part the same at every track. I always liked sprint for I could take my car anywhere and race it most the time just with a tire change, till the 305 popped up. So taking a hard look at the Hobby Stock-Street Stock-Pro Stock rules and it just may of tip the scale for me on returning to this class. Not easy to have a good racecar that needs (I know not a must) $3500 in upgrades. I say for my drivers it is a must when you add a bead-lock and a racing tire your going to hook up and then safety come in on a stock part that was not built for this. Thank God we are still free to make a choice in life HA!HA!HA! Anyway one of many things to think about.
