Props to your dad Wes Meeks...for taking an 18 yr.old Harris chassis, that he paid 3k for (race ready)and had it up front all weekend dancing with the big boys.
That was just cool to see.
Kinda underscore's what the X mods are s'posed to be about...set up& driving.
How about Fito (Gallardo) in the Valdez 18 X mod?
...that was a Clinic . He'd out run most of the A mods in the state in that car.
Iron man award hands down to Greg (Gorham) for running his X mod in both X AND A mod races all weekend...he ran up front in BOTH divisions.
That was impressive.
Who'd ever thought they'd 100 cars in Grants.
Stands were overflow both days.
