11 hours on the road and worth every mile! Tre you put on one hell of a show! Everytime we leave that place were reminded of why we travel so far to race there. Having more fun racing in NM once every other month then we did racing every weekend locally.... Cool meeting and talking to Witten at the shirt booth... great having a tech crew going in depth to make the playing field even (even tho it bit me in the a@# sat night) ...... ONLY thing that I didn't like, not hot pits, should have at LEAST had hot pit for the main event on sundays show, sucks to pull that far and park it over a flat tire... the guys from Globe that came with us for the first time enjoyed the place and the people as well... keep up the good work, won't ever be perfect but you have some AZ boys that would rather travel out of state to race there, that's gotta tell you something! see you guys next time theres a 2 day show!

Props to your dad Wes Meeks...for taking an 18 yr.old Harris chassis, that he paid 3k for (race ready)and had it up front all weekend dancing with the big boys. That was just cool to see. Kinda underscore's what the X mods are s'posed to be about...set up& driving. How about Fito (Gallardo) in the Valdez 18 X mod? ...that was a Clinic . He'd out run most of the A mods in the state in that car. Iron man award hands down to Greg (Gorham) for running his X mod in both X AND A mod races all weekend...he ran up front in BOTH divisions. That was impressive. Who'd ever thought they'd 100 cars in Grants. Stands were overflow both days. Good stuff...

Yeah he is digging that ol Harris car... digging the x-mods even more! Thinkin real strong about the big show in Albuquerque in October, hopefully i'm going to get the #58 converted over to x-mod to come play play with you guys.... fito's x-mod is in its own league..... crazy crazy crazy, had his hands full with that sport mod tell he blew entry into #1....
Heard there was a bunch of dq's? I only knew of myself and Dee... you hear of anyone else?

It turned out to be a great show, good job by getting all the cars in the pits. The playing field really evened out which made for some good racing! The imca stocks, pro stocks race was awesome they raced hard, some fast pro stocks but them boys from Aztec showed their fast! Pretty much it was the out of town drivers who dominated over the wknd. Thanks to all the drivers, crews and fans from out of state to come race at UCS. Thank you Tre for putting on this show to benefit wittens warriors! Also wanna thank the volunteers.
