Engine: any steel block engine allowed
A. Naturally aspirated engines only.
b. Methanol fuel only.
D. All cars must have fuel cell bladder.
Weight: minimum 1500 pounds w/driver after race.
A. All lead weight must be painted white and securely mounted.
B. If you lose any lead during the night you will be DQ'd for the remainder of the night.
Suspension: no cockpit adjustable shocks or weight jacking devices. Hydraulic wing slider is allowed.
Tires. Any make allowed.
A. Right Rear 16.0" Medium or 18.0" HARD. Or goodyears 300 or 400 compounds. American racer sd 38 or harder. Both front wheels and left rear will be open.
Wings: maximum 25 square foot top wing with side boards being 72" long and 30" tall. Nose wing will be a maximum of 6 square feet with side boards being 26" long 12" tall.
Brakes: minimum of 2 working brakes.
Wheelbase: minimum 84" max 90".
Wheels: steel or aluminum ONLY.
No mirrors of any kind.
Seats and Safety: Full containment seats and Hans type device's are highly recommend.
All safety equipment must be worn at all times and be up to current specifications. Rules apply at all times car is on track.
Snell-rated minimum SA2005
helmet required. Roll bar padding required in driver compartment. Recommended: Fire retardant padding.
SFI-approved full fire suit required. Fire retardant gloves, shoes and neck brace (or head and neck restraint) required. Recommended: Fire retardant head sock and underwear.
Minimum three inch (two inch with head restraint system) wide SFI-approved five point safety belt assembly required. Must be mounted securely to main roll cage. Recommended: Safety belts no more than two years old.
Kill switch must be clearly marked ‘OFF’ and ‘ON’.
Number: Must be a Minimum 12" tall and clearly visible from a distance.
Mufflers: all cars are required to run Mufflers.
Race procedure
