Kudos to the Tenski's for trying to get the majority of the state on the same page/under the same sanction.
After years of imca,that took some serious huevos.
Cruces, Aztec, Grants,Cortez,El Paso all under the same sanction & rules pkg.
Albuquerque races under the anarchy /run what ya bring banner.
Chad,Royal, Richard Johnson numerous others tried to get Fegan to join in& get all local tracks to work together to enhance racing and grow counts.For the first time in couple of decades the majority of the state would've been under the same rules pkg.
...didn't happen.

This weekend several Albuquerque based cars are headed North to race in Aztec.
With imca gone,it's kinda like the Berlin Wall going away.
Zane told me that Aztec is using new track prep technology similar to Cruces.
He said last Saturday was the best day show he's ever run.
He also said,
Track was racey & multi grooved.

Seems like a lot of people from here would prefer racing there than here.
Look forward to going up & digging spur this weekend...
