The Limited X-mod rules link is also dead at Southern New Mexico Speedway.

The link provided above from TIR appears to be the right set of rules. I recognize the brevity of this rule set. Thx!

A while back I spoke w/Jaime Throckmorton,the TIR general manager.
He said that the 2013 X Mod rules were a cut&paste from the Cruces website...
It's my understanding that the NAPA rules pkg. For X Mods is also a cut &paste of the Cruces rules.
The 100 lb. Weight differential between NAPA last season&SNMS is now gone.
Rules are identical...including allowing the Holley carb.

Actually there is one difference in the NAPA/Cruces rules..
NAPA still allows the Hoosier g60 tire.Cruces does not.

Last year a Napa tech inspector said to me minimum weight is 2450. He was referencing Napa Speedway Extreme mod rules(pavement)and not the X-mod rules (dirt). He was blissfully unaware there was a different rule set!

Lotta people were blissfully unaware of the weight rule...
J.R.(Bonesteel) KMac,several others were told 2450 was the weight requirement...so that's what they ran at.
There's also a 2650 max.
...this will be the first year since the inception of the class that there will be "real" complete tech.
Which should help maintain the integrity of the class...

You’re not the only one that happened to Robby; they told me I needed a fire extinguisher in my x-mod. I argued with the guy and he showed me the 43 x-mod as an example of how and where to mount it, he said wasn't going to let me race without an extinguisher, so I bet him he couldn’t find one more x-mod with an extinguisher, he refused to look. So I talked to Shay, he said basically you know the rules, do what you know needs to be done... Last year was last year, this year I am actually looking forward to feeding my addiction and having a tech person that can actually check something!

The rules were just Emailed to everyone signed up on the Xmod mailing list
