I think it's great, allowing the imca northern & Southern sport mods to run with the X mods...that seems to be the wave of future, as far as big shows go. Question is how/who's gonna do tech per each class? The big 4th of July show in Grants there was a northern based car, claiming to be an X mod. Problem was... He brought along imca legal motor enhancements that were X mod illegal. More or less of a "best of both worlds" kinda deal. That kind of Mix&match rules needs to be addressed. Hopefully you have people doing tech who are versed in all the rules...and will enforce accordingly.

Yes Mychal you are right. The xmods must be xmods, northerns must follow their rule book and southerns will be 100% southern. Cars cannot mix and match at this race. It has already been addressed to the tech team. I believe the car in question from July 4th has moved up to a mods since then. email: tbrewbaker@hotmail.com
