Oh No MaryL! Have you found him yet? Did you see him last night before you went to bed? Could he have gotten out some how? If so, they recommend you put his litter box outside so he can find his way home. Cats usually stay close to home if they get out, but they can smell up to a mile away to get there. Put out some worn clothing too.
