As my Dad would say, "Folks are like 'crabs in a basket'". They all mull around doing nothing until one of them tries to get out of the basket and then ALL of the other ones migrate over and try to pull the other one back down into the basket.

I have noticed the "verbal assault" and was quite surprised by people's reactions when I told them about Cambridge many years ago. I have learned to keep my mouth SHUT!! It's best for everybody.
