Well, I made it through the afternoon tea. The person with whom I had lunch is as skinny as a rail. I ignored all of the nonsense (sweets) sitting on the 3-tiered serving platter, the cheesecake, the peach cobbler, the chocolate mousse. All of that junk. I purposefully left my dessert on the table uneaten. As we were leaving, my guest said, "Now don't forget your dessert. I had asked that it be put in a carry-out container, so I COULD forget about it and leave it on the table.

However, my skinny guest saw that I was passing it up and "reminded" me to take it with me. So, I did and the first chance I got, I threw it in the garbage.

Skinny people like to be with fat people because it makes them look good in comparison and consequently feel superior. I have had enough of that psychological warfare and I am on to it now. Why couldn't she just not say anything and let me make the decision about whether to take the cake or not? But, NOOOO!! She wanted me to take the cake and be enchanted enough to EAT IT so I could continue to be FAT!! Well, NOT TODAY!!
