I want to know WHY your sister showed up with leftover food? Is she a saboteur?
Not eating food ain't easy, PERIOD!! I had to clean out my entire house of food before I started this journey last August. We have acquired a habit of eating food and liking it. But, we don't seem to have a "stop" button. At least, I know I don't.
In order to satisfy my need to "chew" something, I microwave green beans, dice some tomato on top of them and pour "I can't believe it's not butter" over it. It has helped me tremendously.
Fruit will only delay ketosis because of the fructose it contains. Cambridge is a modified fast and until you get into ketosis, it will be a difficult journey having to contend with your food urges.
Some people don't want you to lose weight. I found that out!! Sonali, you need to follow what is best for you and your lifestyle. All I know is that being thinner is MUCH better than being fatter.
As an OB/GYN, I also know that "hormones" can derail any woman during "that time of the month". But, if you were in ketosis, yuor are less likely to be distracted and head for the familiar food choices.
How can you stop? Get into ketosis. That's my solution.
