Hello-I am happy to see the board is still here.My intention is to stay on track now with my daughter's help and encouragement. Exercise will be walking, exercise bike, gardening. In recent months I was trying to use the Zone diet in conjunction with use of some of my leftover Cambridge. I do not have a lot of confidence, an d faith in my ability to stay focused. I am easily discouraged, sad, depressed -making no weight loss progress -Many times I have started the day with good intentions and by the end of the day the intentions are gone. It does not help that I am retired with a husband that is a sugarholic….must have sweets every day. He likes to make little nasty remarks that he believes are funny but still there is no excuse for not taking care of myself.. The eating program that I am now on is one that was developed to "starve" lymphodema and lipodema. I started it about a week ago after I received the book, found on Amazon. I have lymphodema. It does include supplements that may be purchased online or locally, and is simple to follow with common whole foods that anyone can buy at the local grocery store.I am still using some Cambridge products until they are gone. The lymphodema program discourgages the use of processed foods, white sugar, white flour and encourages plant based nutrition with limited animal protein. Fermented foods like sauerkraut, kefir, yogurt, kimchi for gut health are encouraged. My goal is to stay on track eating to relieve the lymphedema symptoms, starting with baby steps to make huge progress. Thank you for still being here!
