Are you kidding, I am lucky to get in 5000 steps in on a regular basis. One day I was a real slug and registered only 1200 steps (and I didn't feel guilty either). So, there!

The German chocolate cake looks like it is "to die for". My hat's off to you for resisting with only a sliver of a slice. I would have eaten most of the cake.

Girl, you got skills with your carving. I learn something today---that decorated pumpkins can be store-bought. Who knew?! Not in Jersey.

We don't have any Santa Ana winds here in the Northeast, but Superstorm Sandy back in 2012 had me running to get a generator for our entire house---Generac. I have no more worries now about power outages. They are inevitable it seems. But, please be safe.

Regrettably, carving is not enough to keep ME from munching. I just try to distract myself by reading. The television has too many commercials and too much about politics. So, I just read.
