305 Posted by Sonali on 9/10/2018, 12:56 pm Hello everyone! I believe the last time I posted was before my Europe trip back in August. I was weighing 304 before I left... I came back on the 1st weighing 299! While I Europe, I did not over do it as far as eating but I also did not deprive myself from tasting everything! I did however walk an average of 7-9 miles a day! I made sure I saw everything I could on a daily basis and didn't sit out any of the excursions! I came back home to a weekend (Labor day) of festivities, birthdays and holiday celebrations and since I was happy with my weight, I indulged... only difference is I was active at all! I wasn't even walking 1 mile a day! Couldn't make that 1 mile mark! Wow. That was just the Labor day weekend and the rest of the week I just couldn't focus on committing to anything healthy wise. Here I am now a week later from being home and get on the scale to read 305! It is what it is and maybe it could have been worse so I'll take it with a grain of salt and start now. Good luck everyone! We are all on this together... Here I go Day 1.

Have you thought about the "nuclear option"? Posted by Yvonne on 9/10/2018, 2:54 pm, in reply to "305" Hi, Sonali: Going "commando", i.e., emptying every bit of food from you house (apartment) and only having Cambridge to consume. When my husband became ill, I donated all the junk food, canned goods, and other nonsense to a local Food Pantry. So far, it's the best thing I have done since I began the Support Board back in 2005. Try it. You might like it.

Which is why the last time I was successful, I literally moved across the nation to get a "jump start" I think you remember I relocated to Cherry Hill, NJ from SOCAL for a couple months. Unfortunately that's not an option now. I live with my mom and sister and her 3 kids. There's food everywhere. So I just have to stay focused and determined for now.

It was impressive that you went to that length to insure you were in a favorable environment. You set yourself up for success in a big way. I think a lot of the people on this board were a little jealous that they could not join you. Now you have to find a different way to do the same thing. You are one of the most determined and creative people I have ever had the good fortune to watch power their way to their goal. I know you can get yourself back in to that mindset.
