As my mother used to say, "It hides a multitude of sins!" lol! Here in our part of Fl you see a lot of folks 60 and older that are perfectly comfortable in their own skin at the beach, regardless of what shape or condition it's in. I think it's wonderful! My thighs have seen better days so these are my people! lol!

Last year I was doing good until my adopted daughter ran away, but I don't want to get into that.Its about me now and I am back on track. I started back on February 19th. I need to get down to 230 for hip replacement. I am down 32 lbs. was doing close to SS but doing micro cakes so some additions. Started losing slow. Last Week I started complete SS and lost 5 lbs. Five weeks until I see the surgeon. 25lbs until this first goal. Not letting anything stop me this time. After my husband had stents put in February that was it. He lost weight also, but not on Cambridge. It is hard but I am thinking of the light of end of tunnel. I also use celery because it helps with inflamation. I also do the 4 minute workout. This is only exercise I can tolerate right now. I wish there was a local group where we could actually get together any talk.

However, on the other hand, you don't want everybody in the "business". This Cambridge Support Board has been MY local group since 2005 and I LOVE IT!! We are all human with similar struggles, be it local or on the Board. So, I hope you keep posting. I love that 4-minute workout. It's the BEST thing that has happened to me in a long while. Keep going Barbara. Your hip replacement will be a breeze with Cambridge on your side.

I am proud of you for getting yourself back on track in spite of it all. 32 pounds is wonderful! This weight you are losing will make all the difference for you in your recovery from your hip replacement. I've know a lot of people who have had it done and they do great afterwards. I know not a day goes by that I am not grateful I got my knees replaced. It's been 10 years of pain free living. The 4 minute workout is a miracle in my mind. Anyone can do it and it kicks butt! I'm so glad it's working for you.

I'll be happy just to be able to wear a pair of jeans and feel comfortable in them. I would like to look nice attending a late July wedding. This may sound crazy but I recently bought a tiny pair of jeans just too look at to inspire me. SS it is!

Seriously,I don't know if a 6 year old could fit into them but they do inspire. I'll be very happy to have the jeans I currently wear get baggy and fall off eventually.
