The first song on my iPod Shuffle, as I walked the creek trail at just after 6 this morning (with my newly adopted shelter dog) was HIT THE GROUND RUNNIN. How appropriate was that ?!?! When I got home, I made my vanilla shake into a mocha frappuccino :-D - and then went out and WRECKED MYSELF with yard and garden work :-p. My first goal is to lost 14 pounds and return to "one-derland" (just told you how much I weigh - huh???) That seems like a long way from where I am right now...but I think I'll follow Yvonne's lead and just stay away from the scale till the first of August and just WORK IT.

Awesome beginning Syl! How are you doing now? Day 3 can be extra challenging for some. Your body is converting over to fat burning around this time. Tomorrow should be a better day. Once you are in Ketosis your appetite should be suppressed and your energy should be good. More clearheaded too.
YEAH, baby!!

I just planted my tomatoes, basil and cucumbers. They are growing nicely.
Who is the artist for 'HIT THE GROUND RUNNIN'"? I want to put it on my playlist.
I have a great song, "FAITH" with Ariana Grande and Stevie Wonder. I walk faster and all over the place when that one comes on my iPod.
Yep, the scale is a killer for me. I keep saying to myself, "NO MATTER WHAT!" Which means to me STICK TO THE CAMBRIDGE PROGRAM (no matter what!) and the scale will take care of itself. I really don't need numbers to mess with my head right now.
Keep going, Syl. I am in onder-land and it IS FABULOUS from a high of 275 pounds. I'm finally seeing "thigh-light" (that's the light you see between their legs when slim folks wear pants." I am aiming towards "a buck and 3/4) (175 pounds) by the end of this month. That will be a great surprise when I finally step on the scale after a month.
I keep telling myself, 'DO THE WORK!!"
Have a great day!!
