TWO-WEEK COMMITMENT SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED Posted by Yvonne on 10/24/2019, 5:55 pm Hi, everyone: Well, I completed my self-imposed two-week comittment to sole source on Cambridge. I DID IT!! "NO MATTER WHAT" worked for me. I can even see veins in my arms. My clothes are fitting much better and I am buying NEW clothes as we speak. I am becoming a clothes horse. I feel great at the gym and I am bench pressing heavier and heavier weights. My mind and cognition are absolutely the best they have ever been. I just passed my recertification exam for my specialty with a PERFECT SCORE!!! You can't get any better than that!! Just keep going, folks. My daughter is expected to arrive tomorrow. So, there goes my sole source until she leaves. But, you betcha I'm going to do another 2-week stint of sole source after she heads back to her responsibilities in West Virginia (maybe even longer——before Thanksgiving). Anyway, have a great weekend everyone. Don't forget your influenza vaccine for this year!!

Flu Shot! Why is it so important to get it? And why are some ppl so oppose to it? Please answer if you'd like to give your opinion professionally, otherwise ignore

If you haven't seen someone die in front of you because they cannot breathe and their body (and organ systems) shuts down because of the devastating influenza virus, then you don't know what it's like to see someone die when it could have been prevented. I don't know who is telling you this nonsense about not to get the seasonal influenza vaccine, but they are ill-informed. Unless you are on a deserted island or in the tundra where there are no other people, then you need to be vaccinated. As you know, the "flu" is not a "cold". It is deadly and the viral strains keep changing each year. That's why it is SO important to get vaccinated yearly. Many people were "opposed" to vaccinated their children against measles and mumps; and then look what happened? The resurgence of these once-eradicated diseases that kill people. That's what happened to the Native Americans when the Europeans came over to this country. It wasn't the violence of war, it was the devastation of smallpox and other viruses that the Native Americans had never been exposed to. But, I digress. In my medical opinion (of over 46 years), one needs the seasonal influenza vaccine yearly. That's about it! Have a great day!!

According to my body mass index (BMI), I am no longer obese, but I am still overweight. Therefore, I STILL need my Cambridge to get me to my 147 pounds. Close----but no cigar, yet!
