Back Again Posted by Barbara F on 9/28/2020, 9:52 pm Its been a long time. August 2019 I had my hip replacement was doing great and the weight started creeping back on. The pandemic hit and forget it the will power to get back grew harder and harder. I know always an excuse. Now I have bad back pain probally partly from the added weight and ankles a bit swollen probally from the wrong foods. Made it through one day. Have a lot of cambridge left which I bought when they were closing last year. I missed the bars and just discovered what company makes them. I saw a website and said those colors looked very familiar and then looked at the ingredients, protein and calories. Proti Foods carrys the Chocolate cereal bars and caramel crunch bars. I just ordered hopefully they taste the same. They also have other products with the same calories and protein such as oatmeal and pancakes. Trying to move forward here. I no I will slip up again. Going to Florida in three weeks to pick up my daughter. No crazy about traveling with covid. Hope everyone is doing well.

I'm just happy to "speak" to like-minded person about what the heck I am going through. I switched over to Atkins bars. They are pretty good. My knees are "talking" to me with my increase in weight. Let's not commiserate. Let's DO SOMETHING with what we have. You have at least 3 weeks to get it together. That's the number of days experts tell us it takes to develop a routine. I'm SO happy that I am not in this alone. Take care.

Things have gotten real lonely with covid. Hopefully what I ordered from proti foods along with my cambridge will help. I have shakes for a long while. I don't see recipes on here anymore. I will have to hunt for a print out.
