Your way of thinking about this challenge is optimistic and affirming. I have come to the same conclusion myself about how my burden could have been any number of things---diabetes, paralysis (God forbid), schizophrenia, stunted growth . . . so varied are the limitations that many of us must cope with. Although this particular issue is perhaps atypical and difficult to convey to people who don't suffer from it, it still allows one to do things that others can't. It's easy at times to get angry, and implore, "Why me? What did I do to deserve these limitations?" But this is how the cards were dealt, and we have to make the best of them. I guess one of the keys to dealing with it is to find those accomodations that work for you, like you said.
