Cbt is definately the best route, ive had it many times, and ok i may needed to have gone back after a while, but only for a session thats it. really helps put all those irrational thoughts and feelings into context, for example, did you know that the reason you feel like you need to go to the toilet when you get anxious is your bodys 'flight or fight' instinct kicking in and one of the things your body does to help get you ready to fight or flight is to make you as light as possible. It doesn't mean you need to go to the toilet but gives you the sensation just incase you did. Phobias and anexity are hard to deal with, been struggling for about 7 years now but getting on with my life and have good times and bad ones. ikf anyon ever needs to chat email me, i also suffer with emetophobia the fear of vomiting.but everything is much better vthan itused to be. xx
