so, PD's. like you say, some docs don't think they exist yet. others do. one of the problems i think people are gonna face when they go to the doc is that the doc is quite likely to just reach for the anti-depressant script. certainly my experience has been that going on these drugs has made my situation worse. intolerable side effects mean i need to come off them but i now have the nasty situation of not being able to stop them because of dire discontinuation effects.
i've reached the conclusion - like a lot of people that have had problems with psychiatric drugs - that capitalism (pharmaceutical companies in this instance) and mental health care are a bad mix. i'm still struggling with seroxat(paxil)

if i could do it again, i'd have steered well clear of the drugs on offer.
probably would have tried something natural that's been used for a long long time like st johns wort or rhodiola rosea.
