One thing I've become vaguely aware of through selling the book, and the occasional check to see which country/state people who visit the site are from is this: Most of the traffic is from the UK and the States... which is not surprising since this an English language site.
However, I do get people logging in from Europe as well in lesser numbers and occasionally buying the e-book. What's strange is that a high proportion of the European hits come from Germany. I have German extraction in my own make-up (my grandmother's maiden name was Schreiber)

And of course, Anglo Saxons have strong Germanic roots in their genetic makeup.

So I guess what I'm saying is, I wonder if shy bowel is somehow a Germanic condition? Or that people of Germanic descent are somehow more prone to it?

Certainly I've never seen anyone logging in from Spain for example. There's very little traffic from South or Central America, a little from the Middle East and very little from Africa, and then its South Africa (little from Russia and none from China but both have the barrier of a totally different alphabet).

As for the people logging in from the States (which is the majority), who knows what their genetic make up is. It could be just people of Germanic descent. But could be any other genetic group. Or a mix of all groups.
