Under IDEA, does the category of SLD include other disabilities definitions than what is listed (perceptual disabilities, brain injury, minimal brain dysfunction, dyslexia and developmental aphasia)?

Or is the definitional of a LD have a "different" definition than SLD?


Here is our situation: 7 yr. old with AU/SI determination of eligibility. However, he has CAPD, SID, fine motor/gross motor disabilities, too, but there is no "category" on his IEP for such classifications either to be individually listed out or grouped all together. The only categories are SLD (specific learning disability), which when I read IDEA states the "definition" includes perceptual disabilities, brain injury, minimal brain dysfunction, dyslexia and developmental aphasia, but not Autism. How do I get classification under the SLD definition as a determination of eligibility of determination?
