I can't get a writing job without having jumped through all the hoops...have tried many times....there are therapist jobs I could do even better....with same drawbacks. Entry level jobs are infinitely harder than anything higher, but if you can't pay those "dues" you cannot leapfrog over them. BTW there are no "disability" job services; that is an institutional lie. OVR services could never service me because I started with a false diagnosis (crazy). And yes I was evaluated for the LD but the "therapy" consisted of biofeedback, which was a small start but vastly insufficient. I just quit after the evaluation and not much later the clinic closed. The director admitted her IQ was the same as mine. The idea that learning disabilities can be cured is a cruel joke. Thanks for the response. Happy holiday.
