I gotten bored looking at Gary's nice Snapper, so last night I decided to try and restore the South Islands reputation by catching a equally nice fish.

This one was first to volunteer itself.


A smaller Snapper then volunteered, but it did not reach the size criteria to deserve a photo.

Then a big, fat strong fighting Sounds snapper volunteered itself to represent the South Island's snapper fishery. It posed for a few photos before swimming away.
