Waitara river mouth is thick with KY sometimes. Good catches made with Hex lures. Normaly just as the tide starts pushing in late afternoon. Today would be good, they are chasing the whitebait. I got over 30 fish one afternoon (put them all back), on light spinning gear it is heaps of fun
