Hello to everyone, just wondering if anyone knows anything much about Alvey reels and rods as I'm looking to try these out this year. Really interested to know about the quality of the rods available, not wanting to spend top dollar at this point and also about the strength of the reels center pin, will it bend if I hook into something decent ?. Also if anyone's interested i have a hardly used 6500B I would like to trade for a good left side retrieve alvey surf reel
