The Sweepstake was won by Al from Gizzy with a 17.26kg 7 Gill shark. .
The wind, oh the wind. You could have stood in a sandblasters tunnel and felt better. I had to leave the beach it was so bad. 1am mind. Sou' wester my ####. It was directly along the beach and the sand was moving at 40 to 50 knots like a hailstorm. Madness to the extreme. But we did it. I am wondering though what if the conditions are like this during next years Nats. Will the FEARLESS FIELDING crew turn up I must mention the raffle. It was supposed to be a big tub full of goodies, from wine to fishing gear, well we ended up with three prizes in total. An awesome effort by everyone. AND a big ups to those thirty from Pania who travelled up and those that came to challenge. Lastly, Gizzy finally wrestled the shield from us. A big CONGRATULATIONS team, an awesome effort and it is good to see it move.
