The weigh-in was a bit of a non-event. Only a few turned up. Four little snappers weighed. The biggest of those was 1.2kg, caught by James Parahi at Le Quesne Road. The other three were from Whakaki by Dion and Kane. Duncan weighed a conger of 8kg plus, caught at Blacks. One tiny gurnard. At least one red cod, a handful of lemons and a few kahawai made up the numbers.
