ABU I wouldn't be concerned about the tide times, they are really irrelevant to be fair. The most important aspect will be looking ahead at tidal flows. The larger the tides, the better off the fishing is. When the tides are very small, the fishing can be dead.

The reason the time of the tides doesn't matter is because it all depends on the location and weather conditions at the time. Surf beaches like BOP can be fantastic on the low tide at night, but it can also be choice on the high. If the contest was in HB, a beach like mahanga would be suited to a low tide, but a place like Whakaki is better over the high........

So my point is it doesn't really matter 2 5th's of bugger all. Low tides are better for rock access also...... So ether way, you will upset someone.
