For those of you who livebait for Kingi's.
How do you hook on your liveys (hook placement)?
Do you hook them in front of the dorsal or behind?

I've been hooking them just behind the dorsal. about 2/3 down the fishes length. My reasoning is that the pull on the trace should tilt the fish nose-down all the time and cause it to swim down the slide..
The problem with this is I'm finding lots of liveys get ripped from the hook without hookups.

I'm assuming whatever is biting them is just grabbing them by the head and not swallowing them whole.
