Had a run in with a submariner this morning. He had trouble understanding why he shouldnt set his torpedo 10 meteres to one side of my rods. He said "it will go out straight". I pointed to my footprints in the sand where I had to follow a hooked fish down the beach just before he arrived.
He said that they would move down the beach 50m. His parting shot was "we will leave the ones in close for you".
I waved as I left and climbed the bank behind the beach.I also smiled as I noticed his towing track would cover a patch of reef in front of him.
