So, no weed. But no snappers, at least during the hours fished. I'm committed, and 48 hours is a long time in fishing . When I'm back, I'll post some pics. Hopefully, they won't solely feature black sand beaches and Brent's quad. I got enough of those last time, which was Feb 28 2012. It wasn't a total fail. My snapper from that trip shown below. Got that one first cast, but it was just baby tope and other rubbish from then on.
