Headed up on Sat arvo and settled in at old blucks pit rd i think its called. Set up for the night with 6 rods between two of us. First bait to be hit was big and angry pretty much made mince meet of my old fav the silster strayliner with thirty pound mono on a ledger and really close only about 30 mtrs out. Rest of night was ok 2 snap 4 gurnad a few good ky a few trevs and a eagle which was put back to bend a few more beachrods... I know what ya are saying about the makrell racepics we landed heaps of them they are the biggest ive seen from the beach some are now salted and ready for the the next trip.. Great trip and am now planning the next one.
