Is far as having a 'base camp' light around the chillybin/baiting area goes I just use a solar garden lamp from Mitre10.
Its a fairly big one with a 4in square solar panel and 4 or5 leds. It fits into a spare rod stand and sheds plenty of light all night and charges up all day
