lighting

just wanting to know what people are using for area lighting at night and also head lamps , i have a lenser h7 but i am finding when there is alot of sea spary or a fog the bright white light is just bouncing off and cutting down the visibility down to nothing

Seems to be a common problem with any high power headlamp. I am using another HP brand with the same problems. Its important to be able to see what the guy down the beach is catching!

Sometimes it is better to travel than to arrive.

Is far as having a 'base camp' light around the chillybin/baiting area goes I just use a solar garden lamp from Mitre10.
Its a fairly big one with a 4in square solar panel and 4 or5 leds. It fits into a spare rod stand and sheds plenty of light all night and charges up all day

Energiser 2 led and red led combo. $19 @ most stores. Works a charm and quite durable.
