Well thought out Chad and I agree with your submission. I am one of those surfcasters that have thought there was a disadvantage for the purest surfcaster in this compettion. Don't get me wrong, there are some huge fish to be caught of the rocks but it's not surfcasting is it. There are also some of us that medically can not fish the rocks safely but can fish with the best of them of the sand. these people have less of a chance of winning the surfcasting trophy and thats not a fair playing field.
