I have always been an eggbeater man. Have a couple of tica baitrunners which have been fine. However I would like to have a go with an overhead combination so looking for advice on a reel. Someone suggested a Daiwa SL30 might be a good place to start but keen to get your advice on what might be a good reel to start with. I realise it might depend a bit on what rod I pair it with. Have not worked out that bit yet but will probably pair with a 14'6 lightweight rod similar to Kilwell SLX, prevail, that sort of thing. Cheers Steve.
