Cool. The sea lettuce will be a problem over there. When the snapper are in then bowentown is the place to be. Fish it from low till you cant fish it no more, you will know what i mean once you fish there a bit. You need breakouts tho and i find that if they not the BOS variety then your fishing time is considerably shorter. Best bet for in front of the camp at bowentown is to drive half way up the hill on low tide when the seas a bit stirred up n look for any bits that stick out further and fish off those in the dark at low. Have caught hundreds of snapper off the beaches there the biggest being just under ten pounds. You also get nice trevs in the two to three kilo range, and make superb bait when used as fresh little strip baits.
