last and only jarvis walker reel I had stuff out I was told to just throw it away and buy a new reel as they were just a throw away reel by the shop haven't owned one since so I may be wrong and if I am then my humble apologies 
yeah if parts are available for jarvis walkers by all means try and get a new drag knob for it.
