Some big fulla's taken at Whakaki and Iwetea on longlines. I have not heard much on the rods. Boats are doing well of mahanga when weather allows, gurnard and snapper. Trawlers have moved in, smashing the 50m mark.

Chris Spurr got a nice 2.8k trev at Mahanga. Plenty of kahawai around, just a matter of waiting for the sea to settle. Looking alright when wind goes North, bit of swell, but OK water color.

Looking forward to day light savings, more time after work to get out.
