Gurnard: When the sea conditions are flat and clean and the crabs aren't to prolific:
From Whirinaki reef to Gill Road when there around
Ocean, Waimarama also
Snapper
My most consistent spots
Whirinaki, East Clive but they show up on pretty much all the beaches including Te Awanga Clifton, particularly around Feb onwards
Anchovies and Bonito are my preferred baits
