I brought a heap maybe a year ago which I have still been working through, mine work fine. Apart from a while back wihen the wires changed, and they fell to bits, they are a proven product that works very well but best of all, very simple.

The impact shields are probably the best of the lot, but they are bulky and require crimps. The sinkers are with the fancy clips are a bit of a gimmick, I trailed a few some time ago and they jam up with minimal grit, although when they are used in appropriate areas they work fine. The sinkers with hooks on them are ok, they work, but dont always release.

They all work well, just a case of weighing up what you feel true value for money is. I generally use cheep trademe sinkers, same as a boss sinker but only costs $2 delivered and the wires are perfect. Attach a $1.60 IMP and you have a fairly cheep rig that takes 30 seconds to make.

What hooks are you using Chris? Im generally using up to 5/0 in beaks and 3/0 in circles depending on the target.
