I have never fished "the rock" but have caught fish either side like Fringsy. My best catch here was a 12 kg kingfish on a softbait. Snapper have been small and scarce for me but some good gurnard have come in at times at times.
It is a spot that can dissapoint because it looks so good. Generally if there are baitfiah around there will be bigger stuff available,
