I fished from 6pm till 11.30pm at whakaki carpark, for 8 keeper snapper biggest 2.5kg bite time was 9pm till 9.30ish full of paddle crabs, and surprizing to me also caught 4 kahawai ranging from 1.5kg to 2.5kg at 10pm-10.30pm it was a bright night and awesome conditions

dropped a another better fish maybe a ray or small kingi big runs acouple nods more runs and nothing! and 2 trevally just under a kg, released them
10.45pm the bite completely stopped, not bad filled the bin and had some beersies took the emptyies with us

didn't see any rubbish left behind by others so good to see people respecting the beach,

2 quads came from down the beach, they left right on change of light lol (wrong time to leave the beach in my opinion) they got squat!

I personally love fishing change of light-late and even better when the moonrise coincides with it, seems to work for me anyways

skippy baits were all untouched! pillies did the bizzo,
