Torpedo fishers are catching a few desirable fish from Hawkes Bay beaches. Last week two snapper, 38 cms and 43 cms were caughtin a set at LeQuense Rd and at North Shore Rd. two gurnard were caught along with kahawai and spiney backs. Looks hopeful for an early start this spring.
