Hi Druid, not only does this idea work but it works really well. Like you I have always used snaplock bags but found with the more complicated rigs they would still tangle.

The other advantage with this idea is as you break down your gear at the end of a session, it takes only seconds to stow the end gear away properly and the foam would help absorb any moisture from expensive hooks thereby prolonging their use.
