You could have trouble with a vehicle on the beach. Very large tractors pulling large trailers loaded with tourists are a daily happening. It is also a popular walking track to the cape. I have never seen a vehicle on the beach other than quad bikes and trikes.

This is purely a personal thought. If there were complaints about vehicles on that beach it could get the angler access through the camp stopped. The beach is a very unusual configuration, it can vary with any strong wind change and very high tides. The entire seafront at Clifton is very unstable and I believe locals who are fighting hard to get the area stabilized would frown if 4x4's were to make regular appearances.

That is a personal point of view ... I walk in so I know the area quite well. I must also add the shingle is very loose, it would be quite easy to get bogged down. Even the access road through the camp is restricted at present, the problems in this area are truly enormous.
