I think there was only 11 of us that fished, James B came to registration then left for Mahunga..
Anyway, swell was there, not as bad as predicted and it flattened off towards evening, wind was in our faces for the afternoon then calm after 6pm. I believe towards Nuhaka way it was full of weed, back the other way where I was (about 700 meters from Taehanui mouth) it was clean with no weed. Plenty of undersized ky for us but no weighers. No logs or any other debris in the water like some thought there would be, just no fish either. Maybe in a couple of weeks perhaps.
